Light is a powerful design tool that creates experiences and tells stories. Throughout my career, I’ve helped clients and students tell their stories through theatre, ballet, opera, television, concerts, artwork, experiences, and events.
Recent projects include lighting for the world premiere of Haruki Murakami’s Dance, Dance, Dance at The University of Hawaii and Eugene Onegin with Opera Columbus.
Previously, I headed the Production/Design program at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and served as the Resident Lighting Designer for The Los Angeles Ballet. Additional collaborators include: Juilliard, Yale, Honolulu Tool Library, Opera Saratoga, Music Academy of the West, International City Theatre, Colorado Mesa University, Santa Barbara Festival Ballet, Commonwealth Opera, Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Actors’ Shakespeare Project, and Chaminade University of Hawaii.
